Thought we could use an area to discuss this component.  Version 1.6 was just released, so it may have already addressed some issues you may be noticing.

• Noticed there is rich text editing for the initial entry of a discusion, but subsequent comments do not have that option.  Probably typical for a commenting system, but I wondered if the group format could be a replacement for having a separate forum.  Very limiting if you want to include a link in your comment.
• Once a group discussion is created and saved, it cannot be edited later
• JomSocial 1.6 release
